Filmmaker Quentin Tarantino has dismissed rumours that he was working on Kill Bill: Volume 3.

It is to be noted that earlier in 2019, the director had said that he was in talks with actor Uma Thurman, who featured in the martial arts franchise, about doing a sequel by tapping in the ideas not used in the first two films. While there were speculations that Tanrantino would cast Uma’s daughter and actor Maya Hawke in the potential sequel, the filmmaker dismissed them in a new interview.

"I don't see that. My last film is about a film critic, a male critic. And he plays in the 70s," he was quoted as saying. He added, "I can't really tell you anything about it. I mean it has been discussed over the years. There was real thought about it happening, but very long ago. I don't see it as immediately on the horizon."

The first two parts of Kill Bill were released in 2003 and 2004 and revolved around Uma’s character as she swears revenge on a team of assassins and their leader Bill, after they try to kill her and her unborn child.
