During his interview with Total Films, Stahelski said, ['Ghost of Tsushima'] would be my favourite to do next. Without going into crazy detail, it's something I'm super-interested in. We have a great script. We have a really good creative team behind it. It's just about getting all the business end of things locked in. It's kind of in that little bit of flux where everybody is trying to tighten up the deal to get everything going and to make sure we do the best with it." 

From Stahelski’s statements, it appears that production on the film is yet to begin. The director has several projects lined up, including a Highlander reboot and Black Samurai.  

Ghost of Tsushima follows the samurai warrior Jin Sakai, the last remaining member of his clan, who must abandon the traditions that guided him as a warrior to protect the Japanese island of Tsushima during a Mongol invasion. Chad Stahelski's latest film John Wick: Chapter 4 to be released in theatres on March 24.
