Apple TV+ unveils first look of Jane series

Jane, the upcoming Apple TV+ series aimed for children and families, and inspired by the work of Dr Jane Goodall, is set to stream on April 14, the streaming platform announced.

Jane will consist of 10 episodes.

Jane Goodall is an English primatologist and anthropologist, whho is best known for her long-term study on social and family interactions of chimpanzees. In the series Ava Louise Murchison stars as Jane Garcia, who is a 9-year-old aspiring environmentalist and wishes to save endangered species. Along with her best friends, including a chimpanzee, she goes on adventures to save the wilf fauna with her inspiration being Jane Goodall. The series stars Tamara Almeida, Dan Abramovici, azz Allen and Sam Marra among others.

“I’m excited about this opportunity and relationship with Apple and Sinking Ship. The program Jane spreads a message of hope and reminds children that the environment is something that we all have to be concerned about while also inspiring them and their parents to make a difference,” said Jane Goodall.

Jane will be a live-action/CGI-blended series and created by JJ Johnson who executive produces along with Christin Simms, Blair Powers, Matt Bishop and the Jane Goodall Institute’s Andria Teather.
