Gareth Evans’ Havoc starring Tom Hardy to release in 2023

It was earlier reported that the filming has wrapped up in October 2021. It was previously announced that the film will be released in December 2022

Gareth Evans achieved international acclaim with the high-voltage action film The Raid in 2011. And now, five years after his last directorial Apostle, which was released in 2018, Gareth Evans is back in the director’s chair. 

According to official reports, Evans' upcoming action-thriller titled Havoc is all set to release this year. The British-American film stars Tom Hardy in the lead role. The film reportedly revolves around a detective who must find a politician’s estranged son after a drug deal has gone wrong. While trying to find the politician’s son, the detective descends into the chaotic underworld and discovers the dark web of conspiracies and corruption plaguing the city. 

The film also stars Forest Whitaker, Timothy Olyphant, Justin Cornwell, Jessie Mei Li, Yeo Yann Yann, Luis Guzmán, and Michelle Waterson. Havoc is based on an original screenplay written by Evans as a part of his exclusive deal with Netflix. It was earlier reported that the filming has wrapped up in October 2021. It was previously announced that the film will be released in December 2022. Havoc is currently scheduled to release in 2023.
