The trailer of Apple TV+'s upcoming biographical drama Tetris is here

Apple TV+ has released the trailer for the biographical drama Tetris, starring Taron Egerton in the lead role. 

Tetris tells the true story of how Dutch video game designer Henk Rogers (Taron Egerton) risked his life to outsmart the KGB and turn the game into a worldwide sensation. Rogers discovered Tetris in 1988 and risked his life travelling to the Soviet Union to meet inventor Alexey Pajitnov in hopes of taking the game to the masses. 

The three-minute trailer opens with Europe's synth hit The Final Countdown, which is used in the game.

Penned by Noah Pink, the film is directed by Scottish filmmaker Jon S Baird, whose previous feature was the 2018 biopic, Stan & Ollie. The cast of Tetris includes Nikita Yefremov, Roger Allam, Anthony Boyle, Togo Igawa, Ken Yamamura, Ben Miles, Rich Yune, and Matthew Marsh.

Apple TV+ will release the film worldwide on their streaming service on March 31.
