Prime Video revealed the first look images along with the premiere date of upcoming series Dead Ringers, starring Rachel Weisz as OBGYN twins Beverly and Elliot Mantle. The limited series is adapted from David Cronenberg's 1988 psychological thriller film Dead Ringers.

The series is created, written, and executive produced by Alice Birch and will consist of six episodes. The series will premiere on April 21. Rachel will also serve as executive producer.

Dead Ringers will feature Rachel playing the double-lead roles of Elliot and Beverly Mantle, twins who share everything: drugs, lovers, and desire to push boundaries of medical ethics. The series will also feature Britne Oldford, Poppy Liu, Michael Chernus, Jennifer Ehle, and Emily Meade.

While the first two episodes are helmed by Sean Durkin, others part of the direction team also includes Karyn Kusama, Karena Evans, and Lauren Wolkstein.

Dead Ringers is co-produced by Amazon Studios and Annapurna Television.
