Netflix releases the first look trailer of anime series Pluto

The series is based on Naoki Urasawa and Osamu Tezuka's manga Astro Boy

Netflix has released the first-look trailer for the new anime series Pluto. Produced by GENCO with animation production by Studio M2, the series is set to release later this year. 

The original work is based on The Greatest Robot on Earth, a story within the manga and anime of Osamu Tezuka's iconic franchise Astro Boy.

Pluto follows the suspenseful murder mystery starring Gesicht, a Europol robot detective trying to solve the case of a string of robot and human deaths. Astro Boy, or Atom, is featured in the show as a highly developed robot — considered one of the world's top seven robotic technological advances in science.

Shinshu Fuji leads the Japanese language voice cast as Gesicht, Yoko Hikasa as Atom,Netflix hasn't confirmed anything regarding the cast.
