Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes wrapped filming

The film will be released in theatres on May 24, 2024

The fourth instalment in the Planet of the Apes reboot series, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, has wrapped filming. The film director, Wes Ball, announced the news on Wednesday through his Twitter handle, sharing footage from the location. 

Deemed as the sequel to War for the Planet of the Apes (2017), Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes is written by Josh Friedman, Rick Jaffa, Amanda Silver, and Patrick Aison. 

The film has an ensemble cast, including Owen Teague, Freya Allan, Peter Macon, Eka Darville,  and Dichen Lachman, Eka Darville, Kevin Durand, Travis Jeffery, Neil Sandilands, Sara Wiseman, Lydia Peckham, and Ras-Samuel Weld A'abzgi. The feature is produced by Joe Hartwick Jr., Jaffa, Silver, and Jason Reed.

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes will be released in theatres on May 24, 2024.
