Constantine sequel with Keanu Reeves is on the cards

The sequel to Constantine, the cult-classic superhero film, is on the cards. According to reports, the sequel is in development with Warner Bros. The studio has confirmed that Keanu Reeves will return as John Constantine. However, the sequel was not mentioned in the newly announced DCU list by James Gun and Peter Safran.

Reports noted that the sequel is still a part of Gunn and Safran's vision. The story of Constantine follows John Constantine, a cynical detective and exorcist. He has the magical ability to interact with earthly and underworld creatures including half-angels and half-demons. The first film was released in 2005. Meanwhile, Revees also expressed his eagerness for the sequel. Speaking to an entertainment publication, he said he loved playing John Constantine and he would love to do it again.
