Golden Globe award-winning actor Amanda Seyfried will be featured in Atom Egoyan's production of Seven Veils. The drama will be penned and produced by the Academy Award-nominated filmmaker. 

In Seven Veils, Amanda will be starring as Jeanine. She's a theatre director who has taken up the task of reforming her former mentor's most well-known work, the opera Salome. Jeanine knows that she has some big shoes to fill as she gives a spin to the classic masterpiece based on the play by Oscar Wilde and then reframed by composer Richard Strauss. 

Amanda and Atom previously worked together a decade ago for the latter's 2009 thriller Chloe, in which the former starred alongside Liam Neeson and Julianne Moore. While there is no clarity on the film's release date, the production for Seven Veils will begin next week in Toronto. 

Meanwhile, Amanda Seyfried, who was last seen in A Mouthful Of Air, is working on the television series, A Crowded Room.
