Tom Hardy to star in Apple TV+ series Lazarus 

Øystein Karlsen will be penning the script besides directing the project

Academy Award-nominated actor Tom Hardy is set to star in Apple TV+ drama series Lazarus, alongside Emmy-nominated actor Zazie Beetz. The project is a co-production between A+E Studios and Rangle Studios. 

Lazarus is based on Joona Linna book series by Lars Kepler, which has been sold more than 17 million copies worldwide. The series follows an investigation narrative. Tom Hardy portrays the role of a serial killer and Zazie Beetz will be featured as an undercover inspector.

Øystein Karlsen will be penning the script besides directing the project. He is also credited as the executive producer of the show. 

Tom Hardy received a Best Supporting Actor Oscar nomination for The Revenant and his popular feature credits also include Inception, The Dark Knight Rises, Locke, Mad Max: Fury Road and the Venom franchise. 

Zazie Beetz recent success includes Brad Pitt-starrer Bullet Train. Other popular feature credits include Joker, Nine Days, The Harder They Fall, Deadpool 2 and Seberg.
