The trailer of Jake Gyllenhaal- starrer The Covenant is out. One of the stars of the film, Antony Starr took to social media to reveal the trailer.

The trailer showcases car chases, blasts and gunshots. The whole ambience delivers tension at its peak. It is clear that top-quality action content will be the highlight of the film. 

In the trailer, we see a sneak peek of John Kinley's ( Jake Gyllenhaal ) life. During a mission in Afganistan, he gets hit in the head and his life is saved by Ahmed (Dal Salim), a local interpreter who risks his life to take John to safety. The trailer also hints that John Kinley also suffers amnesia on the battlefield. 

Directed by Guy Ritchie, the film has a screenplay is written by him along with Ivan Atkinson and Marn Davies. 

Apart from Jake Gyllenhaal and Dal Salim the film also stars Alexander Ludwig, and Jason Wong.
 
The film is expected to hit the screen this April.
