A24's upcoming epic action film Civil War has a runtime of 109 minutes, making it a less than a two-hour film. The film is written and directed by Alex Garland and is set to release on April 26, 2024.

Civil War stars a cast including Kirsten Dunst, Wagner Moura, Stephen McKinley Henderson, and Cailee Spaeny. The film is set in the Unites States' near future when a civil war is about to break, unleashing a wave of violence and ruckus across the various parts of the country. Kirsten will play the role of a reporter who is going across the country, while Nick portrays the President of the country trying to retain his power.

The film is backed by A24 along with Gregory Goodman, Andrew Macdonald, and Allon Reich. The film was first announced in early 2022 and will be A24's biggest project so far in terms of production.
