The shooting of second season of Apple TV+ series Silo has resumed in the UK, following the halt due to the SAG-AFTRA strike.

Based on Hugh Howey’s New York Times bestselling trilogy of dystopian novels, the series is created by Emmy-nominated screenwriter Graham Yost, who also serves as show runner, and starring and executive produced by Rebecca Ferguson.

The series stars Rebecca Ferguson as an engineer who resides in a silo, in order to stay away from hazardous conditions of the environment outside. The first season ended with the protagonist being sent out in the open to see the real world outside. David Oyelowo, Common, Harriet Walter, Chinaza Uche, Avi Nash, Rashida Jones, and Tim Robbins are also part of the cast.
