The teaser trailer of If, the upcoming film written and directed by John Krasinski, was released by the makers on social media on Thursday.

The film boasts an ensemble star cast including John, Ryan Reynolds, Cailey Fleming, Fiona Shaw, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Louis Gossett Jr., Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Maya Rudolph, Jon Stewart, Bobby Moynihan, Sam Rockwell, Sebastian Maniscalco, Christopher Meloni, Richard Jenkins, Awkwafina, and Steve Carell.

A fantasy comedy, it is about a young girl who suddenly gets to see imaginary friends who have been abandoned by the ones who created them. The film's title IF, is an abbreviation of imaginary friends.

The film is backed by John under his banner Sunday Night along with Ryan's Maximum Effort. Allyson Seeger and Andrew Form are also serving as producers.

If will hit the theatres on May 17, 2024.
