Nicholas Cage's The Surfer wraps production

In a recent interview, Nicholas Cage revealed that he is almost done with acting and only has 'three or more movies' left in him. Meanwhile, his upcoming psychological thriller titled The Surfer, has wrapped up production. The filming took place in Australia, where the story takes place.

The Surfer is directed by Lorcan Finnegan, who is best known for Vivarium starring Imogen Poots and Jessie Eisenberg. Based on a script written by Thomas Martin, The Surfer follows a man who returns to Australia to buy back his family home. After being humiliated by the local surfers, he remains in the place and demands acceptance. However, as the conflict escalates, his sanity is called into question.

The cast of The Surfer also includes Julian McMahon, Miranda Tapsell, Justin Rosniak, and Rahel Romahn. On the other hand, Cage also has Longlegs and Arcadian in the pipeline.
