The first teaser of Jessie Buckley's upcoming sci-fi romance film, Fingernails was unveiled by Apple TV. The film will tell the story of Anna (Jessie) a woman who signs up for her first job at an institute that is conducting a study to determine if love and romance are genuine between a couple.  

The first teaser shows Anna waiting and looking around in, what looks like a hospital. She notices posters related to romance around her, as she is handed some paperwork by an employee. She then asks if it is raining outside, to which the employee says that the rain sound is always played in the centre to evoke feelings of romance.

Riz Ahmed is also set to star in Fingernails, alongside Jessie Buckley. He will be seen as the dedicated yet mysterious love instructor Trevor, under whom Anna works as an assistant. Jeremy Allan White is also a part of the cast and will feature as Anna's long-term partner. Luke Wilson, Annie Murphy, and Nina Kiri round out the cast of Fingernails.

Christos Nikou has helmed Fingernails, which marks his debut English-language feature film. Fingernails will have a limited release in theatres on October 27. It will then premiere on Apple TV+ on November 3.
