Frasier reboot gets release date

The original Frasier aired between 1993 and 2004 and ran for 11 seasons

Paramount+ unveiled the first look and premiere date of the Frasier reboot, which comes 19 years after the original. Kelsey Grammer is all set to be seen as Frasier Crane once again in the hit sitcom which is set to premiere on October 12. 

The original Frasier aired between 1993 and 2004 and ran for 11 seasons. As per the official logline, the reboot with follow, "Frasier Crane in the next chapter of his life as he returns to Boston with new challenges to face, new relationships to forge and an old dream or two to finally fulfil."

Bebe Neuwirth, who played Lilith in the original series, will be reprising her role for the follow-up series. She will be joining her Frasier co-stars Kelsey Grammer and Jack Cutmore-Scott, who played Freddy. 

The upcoming series is being developed by writers Chris Harris and Joe Cristalli. The former is known for writing How I Met Your Mother episodes while the latter is known for Life in Pieces. Kelsey Grammer is executive producing the sequel series.
