The first look images of Apple TV+ upcoming series The Buccaneers were unveiled by the streamer recently. The eight-episode drama is inspired by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Edith Wharton’s unfinished final novel of the same name.

The series is created by Katherine Jakeways. The Buccaneers will premiere on Apple TV+ with first three episodes on November 8, followed by new episodes weekly. It will revolve around a group of young American girls who break into the stiff culture of the London in the 1870s, bringing a breath of fresh air, sidelining the age-old traditions

The Buccaneers stars Kristine Froseth, Alisha Boe, Josie Totah, Aubri Ibrag, Imogen and Mia Threapleton, among others. The series boasts an all-women team with Katherine Jakeways serving as the writer and Susanna White at the helm

The series is produced for Apple TV+ by The Forge Entertainment.
