Netflix has been releasing a list of first look images and teaser for their live-action remake of One Piece anime. Meanwhile, the streaming giant has released a character poster for the central character Monkey D Luffy along with the crew members of the Straw Hat Pirates. 

Monkey D Luffy is played by Mexican actor Inaki Godoy while Emily Rudd plays Nami, Jacob Romero Gibson plays Usopp, Mackenyu plays Roronoa Zoro, and Taz Skylar plays Sanji.The series is developed by Matt Owens and Steven Maeda based on the anime of the same name, which is itself based on the popular manga series created by Japanese mangakka Eiichiro Oda.

The upcoming series, which is scheduled to premiere on August 31, is confirmed to have eight episodes.
