Peter Jackson lauds A24's horror film Talk to Me

A24's recent horror film, Talk to Me, has been getting wide appreciation globally. A notable personality who followed the film's bandwagon of appreciation is well-known filmmaker Peter Jackson. 

In a statement given to Ahi Films, as reported by Newshub, The Lord of the Ring- helmer said, "Danny and Michael Philippou's Talk to Me is the best, most intense horror movie I've enjoyed in years. It's relentlessly scary and disturbing – in the best possible way. Talk to Me isn't just good – it's very, very good. The best, most intense horror movie I've enjoyed in years."

It is to be noted that Peter Jackson has a few horror films in his credits, including Bad Taste (1987) and Braindead (1992), among others. 

Talk to Me starred Sophie Wilde, Alexandra Jensen, Joe Bird, Otis Dhanji, and Miranda Otto. Meanwhile, the makers also announced a sequel to the film titled,  Talk to Me 2. Just like the first part, the sequel will also be helmed by Danny and Michael, with the screenplay by Danny and Bill Hinzman.
