After Aladdin, Lion King, Pinocchio, and Little Mermaid, Disney is reportedly making a live-action adaptation of their 2010 animated film Tangled. They are already woking on live-action versions of films like Moana, Lilo and Stitch. A prequel based on Mufasa from The Lion King is also joining the list of live-action remakes.

Reports further suggest that the 2009 Disney musical animated film The Princess and the Frog will also be getting a live-action remake, Robert Pattinson is rumoured to be in talks to play Prince Naveen in the film.

According to the above mentioned films, classic Disney animated films like Bambi, Aristocats, Hercules, The Sword in the Stone, and The Hunchback of Notre Dame, are also in early stages of development. However, this does not mean that Disney will be abandoning animated films, they are all set to release an original animated musical titled Wish in November.
