The trailer of The Kill Room, the upcoming film starring Uma Thurman alongside her daughter Maya Hawke, was released by the makers recently. The film is expected to be a dark comedy crime thriller.

Besides the real-life mother and daughter duo, The Kill Room also stars Samuel L Jackson and Joe Manganiello. The film is directed by Nicol Paone. It is to be noted that the upcoming film will mark the first time Uma will be teaming up with her daughter onscreen.

The Kill Room will revolve around art gallery owner, hitman and his boss, as they become partners in crime by circumstances. Others part of the cast include Debi Mazar, Tom Pecinka, Larry Pine, Jennifer Kim, Amy Keum, among others.

The film is slated for a theatrical release on September 29.
