Aidy Bryant cast in dramedy series Lonely Hearts Club

Filmmaker Ari Aster will serve as the executive producer

Actor Aidy Bryant will be featuring in the upcoming dramedy series Lonely Hearts Club which is based on an episode from the Crime Junkies podcast. The project is attached to Peacock, with filmmaker Ari Aster serving as the executive producer.

The series is set against the backdrop of 1940s and revolves around a woman who falls for a dim but handsome conman. Their bond eventually gets entangled in a web of lies, murder and drama. Billed to be a dark comedy crime thriller, it is based on the episode titled Infamous: The ‘Lonely Hearts’ Killers.

The project will also have Rob Klein as writer who will work along with Aidy. The duo will also executive produce. The series is attached to Universal Television.
