Kumail Nanjiani, Elizabeth Banks to lead voice cast of Migration

The film is scheduled to hit theatres on December 22

The upcoming animated film Migration will have Hollywood stars Kumail Nanjiani and Elizabeth Banks as the lead voice cast. The film is an animated adventure about a family of ducks on the move.

Nanjiani will voice the character of an anxious Mallard dad, Mack. Banks, on the other hand, will voice his wife, Pam. Caspar Jennings and Tresi Gazal voice their children.

Awkwafina is also a part of the voice cast as she plays the scrappy leader of a New York City pigeon gang. Carol Kane plays Erin, a heron. Keegan-Michael Key, David Mitchell and Danny DeVito round off the voice cast of Migration

An extended first look of Migration was screened at the CinemaCon. The story of ducks on a road trip will follow the duck family who tries to convince their overprotective father to take a vacation of a lifetime. 

The screenplay of Migration has been written by Mike White, the Emmy-winning creator of The White Lotus. The film is directed by Benjamin Renner and co-directed by Guylo Homsy. Migration is scheduled to hit theatres on December 22.
