Written and directed by James Watkins, Speak No Evil is based on the screenplay of the original Danish film written by Christian Tafdrup and Mads Tafdrup. The story revolves around a Danish family who go through a psychological nightmare during their vacation. 

It may be noted that the original Danish film, released in 2022, bagged 11 Danish Film Awards nominations, the Danish equivalent of the Oscars. Meanwhile, Mackenzie Davis was last seen in HBO's limited series Station Eleven. He is known for films like The Martian (2015), Blade Runner 2049 (2017), and Happiest Season( 2020), among others.
