Martin Scorsese is all set to produce Studiocanal's feature film adaptation of What Happens at Night, written by Peter Cameron.

Patrick Marber will write the adapted screenplay for What Happens At Night. He has previously bagged an Academy Award nomination for writing the adapted screenplay for Notes on a Scandal (2006).

What Happens At Night is about a married American couple who decides to adopt a child and travel to a snowy European town. Their journey becomes important to save their sinking relationship. The couple stays in an eerie and largely deserted hotel. The wife struggles with cancer, and the couple's task of adopting a child is hindered by the characters they encounter.

The makers are yet to finalise a director to helm the feature film adaptation of What Happens At Night.
