On Saturday, the makers of The Boys, announced through their official Twitter handle, that the filming for the fourth season has been wrapped up. The makers shared a video of the wrap, in which the cast and crew are seen hugging each other, celebrating the completion of shooting.

The third season of The Boys ended with Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles) defeated and put back on ice. Karl Urban's Billy Butcher goes back to his 'boys' after receiving the diagnosis of only having 12 to 18 months to live, due to the fact he juiced up on Compound V. The Boys, consisting of Frenchie, Hughie, Mother's Milk, Kimiko and Annie are ready to go to war against the Supes.

The Boys is based on The New York Times' best-selling comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, who also serve as executive producers. The show stars Jack Quaid, Karl Urban, Antony Starr, Chace Crawford, Erin Moriarty, Laz Alonso, and Karen Fukuhara in lead roles. Rosemarie Dewitt, Rob Benedict, Elliot Knight, and Simon Pegg have been added as cast members for the 4th season.

The Boys is produced by Amazon Studios and Sony Pictures Television Studios, with Kripke Enterprises, Original Film, and Point Grey Pictures. The makers are yet to announce a release date for season 4.
