Colin Farrell's The Penguin's teaser is here

An In-production teaser of the much-anticipated Batman spin-off series, The Penguin, was released during the launch of Warner Bros. Discovery's new streaming service Max, a merge of HBO Max and Discovery+, on Wednesday. 

The Penguin, currently in post-production, consists of eight episodes. The series focuses on the Gotham City gangster Oswald Cobblepot from the 2022 blockbuster film The Batman, played by Colin Farrell.

The spin-off series features an ensemble cast including Cristin Milioti, Michael Zegen, Clancy Brown, Rhenzy Feliz, Michael Kelly, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Deirdre O’Connell, Carmen Ejogo, François Chau and David H. Holmes.

Lauren LeFranc is the executive producer and showrunner of the series, with The Batman writer-director Matt Reeves executive producing through his production company 6th & Idaho. The first three episodes will be directed by Craig Zobel, who also serves as the series's executive producer.
