Actor Jeremy Renner recently walked his first red carpet since his snowplough accident in January. According to reports, the actor was at the premiere of Rennervations, his new Disney+ reality series. The show is said to be about renovating used vehicles for underserved communities around the world.

Renner arrived on the carpet using a cane. While he walked a bit, he then took a motorised scooter for the press interviews. He also stated that he was determined to ensure the Rennervations' premiere happened as per plan, even as he was recovering from his injuries.

According to Variety, he said, "I was really adamant about them not pushing this thing while there was momentum with the brass at Disney, with us, with the timing of it in all of our lives. It just felt right."

It may be noted that Renner suffered blunt chest trauma and orthopaedic injuries in a weather-related accident near Reno, Nevada, on New Year's Day. He is popularly known for his work in The Mayor of Kingstown and Marvel's Hawkeye series as well as the Avengers and Captain America films. He secured Oscar nominations for The Hurt Locker in 2010 and as a supporting actor for The Town in 2011.
