John Wick spinoff Ballerina gets release date

Ballerina, the John Wick spinoff, which is in the making starring Ana De Armas, will release on June 7, 2024.

The spinoff film will have an appearance from Keanu Reeves’s John Wick, along with Lance Riddick in his final film performance before his demise. The cast of the film also includes Norman Reedus, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Anjelica Huston, Ian McShane, and Gabriel Byrne.

Directed by Len Wiseman with script penned by Shay Hatten, Ballerina is backed by Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee and Chad Stahelski. In Ballerina, Ana De Armas plays the role of an assassin who is trained in Ruska Roma traditions. The spinoff will revolves around ballet school that fronts as a training school for assassins, it was introduced in the third film in the series John Wick: Parabellum. The series will follow Ana’s character taking revenge against those who killed her family.

Meanwhile, John Wick: Chapter 4 was released recently and became a global hit, earning positive reviews as well.
