Warner Bros. Pictures dropped the new trailer of Greta Gerwig's directorial Barbie on Wednesday. The film boasts a star-studded cast, and to the viewers' surprise, actor-wrestler John Cena's name also popped up among the cast.

Even though the makers unveiled character posters erstwhile the trailer, John Cena's name was absent. However, the actor's name appeared among the cast credits at the end of the trailer and which intends that the WWE star is also part of the film. It is currently unknown what role he plays, and the trailer didn't reveal much about the plot.

Greta Gerwig co-wrote Barbie along with Noah Baumbach. The music for the film is composed by Alexandre Desplat, who earlier collaborated with the director in the 2019 film Little Women.

Meanwhile, John Cena has a slew of projects coming up this year, including Fast X, Snafu, Coyote v. Acme, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, and Argylle
