Trailer of Mike Flanagan's The Midnight Club out

The trailer of the upcoming horror series The Midnight Club was released by the makers. The series is created by Mike Flanagan, who is known to deliver horror series like The Haunting of Hill House, The Haunting of Bly Manor and Midnight Mass. 

The Midnight Club will premiere on Netflix on October 7. 

The official synopsis of the series reads, "At a hospice for terminally ill young adults, eight patients come together every night at midnight to tell each other stories – and make a pact that the next of them to die will give the group a sign from the beyond."

The series is based on the 1994 novel of the same name as well as other works by Christopher Pike.The trailer follows a young girl who has dreams to pursue her educations goals, just when she is diagnosed with cancer. As she joins a hospice for young people with terminal illness, in order to get a cure, she meets a bunch of youngsters to run a storytelling club called the Midnight Club. As they share horror tales to one another, they evoke the spirits and are caught in a turmoil. 

The series features Iman Benson, Igby Rigney, William Chris Sumpter, Ruth Codd, Adia, Annarah Cymone, Aya Furukawa, Sauriyan Sapkota, among others. It is directed by Morgan Beggs, Axelle Carolyn, Michael Fimognari, and Viet Nguyen.
