Kate Winslet suffers injuries during Lee filming

In this film, Winslet plays the titular character of Lee Miller, the Vogue cover model-turned-photographer who was a leading figure in chronicling World War II for the iconic magazine

Kate Winslet, who is currently shooting for the historical drama, Lee, in Croatia, met with an injury and was admitted to a local hospital. 

"Kate slipped and was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure required by the production. She is fine and will be filming, as planned, this week," read the statement. 

In this film, Winslet plays the titular character of Lee Miller, the Vogue cover model-turned-photographer who was a leading figure in chronicling World War II for the iconic magazine.

It was Miller's photos that brought the world's attention to the atrocities committed in the Nazi concentration camps.

Winslet is reuniting with her Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind cinematographer Ellen Kuras, who  will be directing the film.

Lee also stars Marion Cotillard, Jude Law, Andrea Riseborough and Josh O'Conner.
