Netflix releases trailer for their upcoming series Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story

Netflix releases the first official trailer for Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, the series stars Evan Peters as the real-life serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer. The series was created by Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan for Netflix. Murphy and Brennan had previously co-created the hit musical TV show Glee.  

Told through the eyes of his victims, the series will follow the numerous killings that serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer conducted between 1978 and 1991. Evan Peters, who plays Dahmer in the series, rose to fame playing superhero Quicksilver in X-Men: Days of The Future Past, he was also seen in the anthology series American Horror Stories.

The series will also focus on the incompetence of the police officers and the justice system in failing to stop the serial killer despite the numerous pieces of evidence, which eventually ended up allowing Dahmer to continue his killing spree.

Netflix has currently scheduled to release all the episodes of the series on 21 September 2022.
