Priyanka Chopra to join Halle Berry, Misty Copeland and others on Power of Women

Lifetime and Variety have partnered again for the one-hour special Power of Women: The Changemakers, set to premiere on September 22. This time, India's Priyanka Chopra Jonas will join Halle Barry, Misty Copeland, Laverne Cox, Idina Menzel, Julianne Moore, and Katy Perry in the special honouring women celebrities working to affect positive change. 

The special will air on Lifetime in advance of Variety's Power of Women Los Angeles event on September 28. Presented in partnership with Lifetime, the event gathers an intimate group of philanthropic women who have been selected as Variety’s honorees as well as the most powerful women working in media and entertainment.

Priyanka Chopra was appointed Global UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador in 2016. In 2019, she was the recipient of the UNICEF Danny Kaye Humanitarian Award at UNICEF's Snowflake Ball in New York.

On the film front, Priyanka will be seen in It's All Coming Back to Me, a romantic drama directed by James C Strouse. The film releases on February 10, 2023.
