The film is reported to be self-financed by the director and has a budget of around 100 million. Talia Shire previously worked with the director on the Godfather trilogy.

According to the director, the film is a contemporary drama where “The fate of Rome haunts a modern world unable to solve its own social problems in this epic story of political ambition, genius and conflicted love.”

The makers of the film are yet to reveal details regarding the release plans for the film. The production for the film will reportedly begin towards the end of the year after casting and pre-production work have been completed.
