Jason Bateman is in negotiations to star in Netflix's upcoming thriller, Carry On.

Filmmaker Jaume Collet-Serra is set to direct this Amblin project, which will be backed by Dylan Clark.

The thriller revolves around Ethan Kopek (Taron Egerton), a young TSA agent who gets blackmailed by a mysterious traveller to let a dangerous package slip through security and onto a Christmas Day flight. 

It is reported that Bateman will be playing the traveller, and this project will be the first collaboration in the deal between Netflix and Amblin.
