Sydney Sweeney to star and back pschological horror Immaculate

Sydney Sweeney is set to collaborate with director Michael Mohan for an upcoming psychological horror film titled Immaculate.

The upcoming feature will have Sydney play the role of Cecilia, a young woman who is offered a position at an Italian convent. Although everything seems nice and welcoming at the beginning, and seems satisfied with her role, Cecilia learns soon that the convent has some horrifying secrets buried within it.

Sidney will also produce the Immaculate, which will be written by Andrew Lobel. The shooting of the film is set to start from January 2023.

Meanwhile, Sydney Sweeney has a number of projects in the pipeline. The actor will star in the upcoming adaptation of author Marcus Kliewer's short story The Caretaker. She will also serve as the executive producer for the film under the banner of Fifty-Fifty with her partner Jonathan Davino. Sydney also has a film in the upcoming Sony Pictures' new film, Barbarella, which is adapted from the comic series by French writer and illustrator Jean-Claude Forest. The Euphoria and White Lotus fame actor has also joined Madame Web, a comic book tent-pole set in Sony's Universe of Marvel Characters. Sweeney's role has not been announced.
