Henry Cavill and Eiza Gonzalez to star in Guy Ritchie’s The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare

Henry Cavill and Eiza Gonzalez have been cast in Guy Ritchie’s upcoming spy-thriller titled The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare. The film will be produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, who is best known for films like Top Gun: Maverick and The Pirates of the Caribbean series. 

The film is reportedly based on true events during World War II and revolves around a real-life government organisation called The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare, which later birthed the Black Ops unit we know today. The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare was created by the then British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and included Ian Fleming, who later became the world-renowned author of the James Bond novels. Guy Ritchie, who is roped in to direct the project, is best known for films like Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Aladdin, and Sherlock Holmes. The filming is all set to begin in January of next year in Turkey.

Eiza Gonzalez shot to international fame by appearing in the recently released Michael Bay film Ambulance. She will next be seen in the feature-length adaptation of the sci-fi novel The Three-Body Problem. Meanwhile, Henry Cavill recently announced that he would reprise his role as Superman in the upcoming DC films. Cavill will also appear in the third season of the Witcher which recently wrapped up its filming.
