Actors Michelle Yeoh and Pete Davidson have joined the cast of Transformers: Rise of the Beasts - the event installment of the Transformers franchise.
 
According to reports, Yeoh will lend her voice to a character named Airazor while Davidson will voice Mirage. Also starring Dominque Fishback and Anthony Ramos, Steven Caple Jr. will direct the new film which is produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Michael Bay, Mark Vahradian and Duncan Henderson.

If reports are to be believed, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will be a 1990s globetrotting adventure and introduce the Maximals and Terrorcons to the existing battle on earth between Autobots and Decepticons. 

Set in Brooklyn, New York, and Peru, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is set for a June 9, 2023 release.
