There is no doubt that in the history of Hollywood, actor Antonio Banderas will always be known for his portrayal of the masked vigilante, Zorro. In a recent interaction with Comicbook.com, Banderas was asked about who would be the right candidate to step into his leather boots. The veteran felt that his Uncharted co-actor Tom Holland would be a perfect fit for a younger Zorro.

Banderas, who has played the role in The Mask of Zorro (1998) and The Legend of Zorro (2005), said, "I did Uncharted with him, and he's so energetic and fun, and he's got this spark, too. Why not?"

In fact, Banderas threw in the idea of returning to the franchise to hand over the mask to Holland similar to what happened with him and legendary actor Anthony Hopkins in The Mask of Zorro.

In the 1998 film, Don Diego de la Vega (Hopkins) passed the torch to bandit-conman Alejandro Murrieta (Banderas) as he trains him to transform into his erstwhile alter-ego of the mysterious masked swordsman so that they can exact revenge on their enemies Rafael Montero (Stuart Wilson) and Harrison Love (Matt Letscher).

Meanwhile, Banderas is currently looking forward to the release of the animated adventure comedy, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, in which he reprises the titular role he first played in 2011.
