Even before the release of The Mandalorian's third season, we now know that the Star War series will be getting a fourth instalment. The series creator Jon Favreau has confirmed that The Mandalorian season 4 is already in development. The success of the first two seasons is said to be the reason why Favreau and executive producer partner Dave Filoni want to expand the Mandalorian universe.
In a recent interaction with CinemaBlend. Favreau said, "With television, we are very lucky that we don't have to rush things through into an hour-and-a-half, two hours. We get to tell stories slowly. So now, as Dave Filoni is doing Ahsoka, it's very much informing the writing that I'm doing for (The Mandalorian) Season 4. It becomes – how should I put it – more precise."
The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal stars as Din Djarin alongside actors like Carl Weathers, Gina Carano, Emily Swallow and Giancarlo Esposito. The third season is set to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on February 2023.
