Amazon Studios is in talks to buy the rights for actor-filmmaker Emerald Fennell's upcoming feature film, Saltburn.

Headlined by Rosamund Pike, Saltburn is written and directed by Fennell. Plot details are currently kept under wraps, however, according to reports, the film is about a grand, aristocratic English family.

The film also stars Eternals-actor Barry Keoghan and Euphoria-star Jacob Elordi. The filming of the film will begin in the UK later this year.

Saltburn is produced by Fennell and LuckyChap Entertainment's Josey McNamara, Tom Ackerley and Margot Robbie.

Fennell is best known for winning the Best Original Screenplay Academy Award for 2020’s Promising Young Woman, which was her debut film as a writer and director. She also was nominated for Best Director and Best Picture. As an actor, she recently joined the cast of Barbie.
