Margot Robbie to star in a new Ocean’s Eleven film

Reports suggest that Margot Robbie will be headlining a new film in the Ocean's Eleven franchise. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the I, Tonya actor will also produce the new film. Filmmaker Jay Roach, who directed Robbie in the 2019 film Bombshell, is on board to helm the project.

Robbie will produce the film along with Tom Ackerley through the production house, LuckyChap. Roach will also be serving as a producer. The film is based on a script by Carrie Solomon and the story will reportedly be set in the backdrop of Europe in 1960s.

Gary Ross, Olivia Milch and Josey McNamara will serve as executive producers on the project, which is expected to enter production next year.

Robbie, on the other hand, has Greta Gerwig's Barbie, Damien Chazelle's Babylon, David O Russell's Amsterdam and Wes Anderson's Asteroid City coming up.
