Acclaimed filmmaker David Fincher, one of the producers of Love, Death & Robots, is directing an episode in the upcoming third volume. This is the first time the Mank director is directing an episode in the multiple Emmy-winning animation series.

Written by Se7en screenwriter Andrew Kevin Walker, the episode is titled Bad Travelling. Neal has previously written the episode Snow In The Desert of the second volume of the series. The official synopsis of Bad Travelling reads, "A jable shark-hunting sailing vessel is attacked by a giant crustacean whose size and intelligence is matched only by its appetite."

The trailer of the third volume, which comprises eight episodes, was unveiled on Monday. The new season also features the episode Three Robots: Exit Strategies, which is a sequel to the popular Three Robots episode from the first season.

Love, Death + Robots, created by Tim Miller, is produced by Miller and Fincher. The series is premiering on Netflix on May 20.
