Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness runtime reportedly out

CE Features

The runtime of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has reportedly been revealed. A listing found on a Brazilian website — Ingresso — for the film revealed that the runtime of the Benedict Cumberbatch-starrer is 148 minutes. This is the same as the recent Marvel feature film, Spider-Man: No Way Home

It must be noted that the Marvel feature films usually have a runtime of 120 to 135 minutes. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, directed by Sam Raimi is slated to be released in theaters on May 6.

This film is important for the Marvel franchise as a whole as it will attempt to tie the loose ends that were introduced in earlier Marvel titles (movies and series) such as Wanda Vision, and Spider-Man: No Way Home. Doctor Strange and Scarlet Witch may clash in the face of ruptures that occur in the multiverse. Stephen aka Doctor Strange's focus will be on repairing the damages incurred by the multiverse during the events of the Spider-Man film.

If the film does run for 2 hours and 30 minutes, there would not be a rush as they will have enough time to introduce the many characters who are set to be a part of the film. So far, the trailers and teasers have revealed that the film might feature Patrick Stewart’s Professor X and a handful of Doctor Strange variants.
