Actors Rupert Friend and Stuart Martin have joined the cast of director Zack Snyder's upcoming film, Rebel Moon. They will join the already extensive cast list that includes Charlie Hunnam, Djimon Hounsou, Doona Bae, and Ray Fisher. Interestingly, Martin has earlier worked with Snyder in Army of Thieves.

The film, which will stream on Netflix, will centre around a group of citizens who have to protect the clan from an external force.

Snyder has written the script along with his long-time collaborators, Shay Hatten and Kurt Johnstad. who worked with the Watchmen filmmaker in films like Army of the Dead and 300 respectively. The director will also produce with his producing partner and wife, Deborah Snyder, and Wesley Coller on behalf of the trifecta’s The Stone Quarry
