Actors Alysia Reiner, Joel De La Fuente, and April Matthis have joined the cast of playwright and author Brooke Berman's directorial debut, Ramona at Midlife. Billed as a dark comedy, the film features Yvonne Woods in the lead role.

Ramona at Midlife follows the story of Ramona, a single mother who was a former Literary It Girl. When her estranged husband, an actor, tells her that a filmmaker’s newest project seems ripped from Ramona’s life, she is astounded. As she faces up to her disappointments and stranded friendships, Ramona finds true creative power and is finally ready to become her best self.

The film, produced by Kristen Vaganos, also stars Rosemarie Dewitt, Scarlett Sher, Cathy Curtin, Rob Beitzel, and Zarah Mahler.
