Sebastian Stan released the first look image of his character from his upcoming film titled A Different Man. Made to look like a man with a severely deformed face, the actor looked unrecognisable under layers of well-crafted prosthetic work. The prosthetic work is done by Mike Marino, who gained fame by transforming Colin Farrell into the mob boss known as Penguin in The Batman.

A Different Man, directed by Aaron Schimberg, follows the story of a man named Edward who undergoes facial reconstructive surgery. A play is written based on his life and Edward gets obsessed with the actor portraying him in the play.

Sebastian Stan also acts as an executive producer for the film. He will be joined onscreen by Renate Reinsve, Lawrence Arancio, and Adam Pearson. The film is produced by A24 in collaboration with Grand Motel Films and Killer Films.

A24 is known for making modern horror and thriller classics like Midsommar, Hereditary, Ex Machina, and The Witch. Rumours suggest that A Different Man could be a psychological thriller.

Details regarding the release date and trailer announcements are unknown at the moment as the film crew has just commenced principal photography.
